The client needed a proactive B2B SaaS platform to reduce chargebacks and simplify dispute resolution, safeguarding merchant revenue and credibility. They required an innovative solution with seamless payment system integrations, real-time dispute alerts, and built-in chargeback management tools—empowering businesses to take instant action. Dynamic pricing and intuitive dashboards ensure efficient and hassle-free dispute management.

API Integrations with Alert Providers 

The platform required API integrations with leading alert providers, such as Ethoca and Verifi, to provide real-time chargeback prevention. Additionally, there was a need to set up direct access to RDR alerts to ensure timely and secure information retrieval. Development approval requires extensive negotiations with providers, compliance verification, and securing official reseller agreements.

Solution

Dataforest handled the entire approval process, from provider interviews to compliance reviews, ensuring seamless API integration with alert providers Ethoca and Verifi (both CDRN and RDR). After rigorous testing, we secured certification, making Chargeback an official reseller of alert services. To enhance accessibility, we configured SFTP access for real-time RDR alerts, enabling businesses to streamline chargeback prevention effortlessly.

Seamless payment processing was essential for automating refunds and reducing merchant workload. However, each payment provider had unique compliance and approval requirements, delaying go-to-market speed.

Solution

Dataforest developed and deployed custom API integrations for Stripe, Shopify, Chargebee, Braintree, and others to streamline the refund process and reduce merchant workload. While developing the Stripe and Shopify apps, the team promptly addressed feedback from their Support Teams during the verification process. Both apps were successfully approved and are now listed on their respective marketplaces.

Now, Chargeback continues to refine and enhance these integrations, maximizing efficiency and success for its users.

Custom Billing System for Dynamic Pricing

Traditional chargeback solutions lack pricing flexibility, making it challenging to scale effectively. This B2B platform needed a transparent, pay-per-use billing model while preventing fraudulent activities.

Our team built a dynamic billing engine that adjusts pricing based on chargeback volume, lowering costs as merchants scale. Integrated with Stripe, Shopify, Billing, and other payment systems, it ensures transparent pay-per-use pricing, fraud protection, and seamless transactions.

Merchants and support teams needed real-time visibility into dispute alerts, refunds, and disputes. A lack of timely notifications could lead to missed refund opportunities and financial losses.

Dataforest built a real-time monitoring system using Prometheus (metrics collection & monitoring) and Grafana (dashboards) to keep merchants and support teams updated on refunds and disputes. Users get custom alerts via email, Slack, or in-platform messages, while dedicated support channels speed up response times. Data insights help identify key touchpoints, ensuring faster dispute resolution, reduced losses, and improved user satisfaction.
